Details 5 Day DeLuxe Photographic Safari Package Africa
On this safari we will stay, for three nights, in an exclusive 4 star lodge in a private game reserve that forms part of the Kruger National Park. This game reserve is also home to the famous white lions. Additionally the lodge is located close to a river, so you will be able to observe animals coming there to drink right in front of you. The last night we will also spend in a 4 start lodge within the park.
Day 1:
We will collect you from O.R.Tambo international airport. And make our way to the Kruger National Park. We arrive at the gate and transfer you to an open 4×4 safari vehicle we head out for our first game drive in search of the big 5 – Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino. These are known to be the 5 most dangerous animals to hunt, but we get to view them up close from the safety of an open 4×4 safari vehicle. We arrive at the lodge. After welcome drinks we give you a chance to freshen up and have dinner.
Day 2:
We rise before the sun and embark on a morning game drive to take some amazing sunrise photos as well as look for wild animals and birds. We return to the lodge for breakfast. We then head out for a full day drive and return to the lodge dinner. After dinner we head out for a night drive to try and find some of the nocturnal animals.
Day 3:
We rise before the sun and embark on a photographic tour of a nearby game lodge and get to have a bush walk and have some animal interaction with cheetah as well as a special Leopard enclosure. We then have breakfast and make our way to the base of the Blyde River Canyon, the 3rd largest canyon in the world to take a few landscape photos as well as have a swim in one of the waterfalls. We then head back to the lodge for an afternoon game drive to take some amazing sunset photos as well as look for wild animals and birds. We return to the lodge for dinner.
Day 4:
We rise before the sun and embark on a morning game drive and then return to the lodge for breakfast. We then head out to the panoramic tour on route we will travel through Graskop, stop at Blyde River Canyon, (third largest canyon in the world) see the Three Rondavels, Visit: Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Wonder View, Pinnacle Rock, Lisbon Falls, Berlin Falls. We then make our way to a private game farm, which is also a 4 star lodge, where we will arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner is served in the restaurant at the lodge.
Day 5
We rise before the sun and embark on a morning game drive to the Sable breading project and then return back for breakfast. We then leave the lodge and make our way back to Johannesburg stooping at a few spots to take some photos of the mountains, arriving in the afternoon at the airport for your flight back home.

Just Safari / Couples Safari:
If you are not so much in to photography and just want to enjoy and experience wilderness, nature and animals, you will have the option of going on to a second independent vehicle. This is a great alternative for couples who just want to experience the African bush with all it has to offer. Or for couples that doesn’t share the same passion for photography and prefer to enjoy the whole beauty through their eyes instead of the lens, away from those who are trying to capture the shot of their lifetime. In this case we are able to accommodate up to 10 people.
Note: This option with the second vehicle (max 10 people) is only available for this Deluxe 5 Day Safari!
